Is this a robocaller?
No. Mávip places one call at a time from your own iPhone number, for your own errands. No bulk dialing, no spoofing, no call-center infrastructure.
Do I need my own AI key?
The free trial and Pro use your own Gemini or OpenAI key, which costs a few cents per call at most. A managed option with no key setup is coming soon.
Why is it not in the Mac App Store?
Mávip installs a virtual audio driver and drives Phone.app with Accessibility. Sandboxed App Store apps cannot do either. The app is signed, notarized, and distributed directly.
Does the other side know it is an AI?
Yes. The agent introduces itself as an AI calling on your behalf at the start of every call.
What happens after the 14-day trial?
Calls pause until you activate a Pro license. Your transcripts, history, and settings stay on your Mac.
